Charles G. “Chip” McClure
Charles G. “Chip” McClure serves as Managing Partner of Michigan Capital Advisors and has more than 35 years of experience in the transportation industry. Prior to founding Michigan Capital Advisors, McClure served as Chairman of the Board, CEO and president of Meritor, Inc. from 2004 through 2013.
From 2002 through 2004, McClure served as CEO, president and member of the Board of Federal Mogul Corp. McClure joined Federal Mogul in 2001 as president, COO and a member of the Board. Before joining Federal Mogul, McClure served as president, CEO and a member of the Board of Detroit Diesel. He joined Detroit Diesel in 1997 after 14 years in a variety of management positions with Johnson Controls, including vice president and managing director of the company’s European and South African operations during which time he was located in Dusseldorf, Germany. McClure later became president of the company’s Americas region.
He also previously held management positions at Hoover Universal and Ford as a heavy –duty truck sales engineer and field service engineer. From 1975 until 1979, McClure served as an officer on a U.S. Navy destroyer. McClure holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
In 2007, McClure was named “Legend CEO” by Automation Alley—a business technology consortium in southeastern Michigan and in 2010, he was recognized as one of Northwood University’s six nationally known business leaders. In 2011, Crain’s Detroit Business ranked McClure as one of Detroit’s Most Powerful People and in 2015, as one of the Hundred Most Connected People in Southeastern Michigan.
McClure currently sits on the Boards of DTE Energy, Penske Corporation, 3D Systems and Crane Company. He is an Ex-Officio member of the Executive Committee of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and a past Chair of the Chamber. Additionally, McClure is a member of the Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Health Systems, Board of Directors of Invest Detroit and a member of Business Leaders for Michigan. He was previously a member of the Business Roundtable and National Association of Manufacturers.
Yana Krivozus is a Principal with Michigan Capital Advisors and has more 10 years of experience in middle-market private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Michigan Capital in 2016, Krivozus served as a Vice President at Glencoe Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm investing in industrials, services and consumer products verticals, where she spent seven years. From 2011 to 2015, Krivozus focused on investing capital in Michigan-based middle-market companies on behalf of Glencoe’s Michigan Opportunities Fund, a groundbreaking partnership of public and private interests in the deployment of private equity capital. While at Glencoe, Krivozus competed eight transactions and a held an operating role at DialogDirect, Glencoe’s Business Process Outsourcing platform and the fund’s largest investment.
Krivozus began her career as an Investment Banker in J.P.Morgan’s Diversified Industrials group in Chicago where over a three year period, she competed seven transactions totaling over $4bn in value for clients in the transportation and broader manufacturing verticals. Krivozus’ selected transactions in the transportation industry included a sale of Goodyear’s tire cord manufacturing facilities, IPO of d’Amico International Shipping, and a follow-on equity offering for Directed Electronics.
Krivozus holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Carsten J. Reinhardt
Operating Partner and Advisory Board Member
Carsten J. Reinhardt serves as an Operating Partner and a member of the Advisory Board of Michigan Capital Advisors. Reinhardt has more than 23 years of experience in automotive and commercial vehicle industries. Reinhardt was COO of Meritor Inc. from 2008 through 2011 and President of Meritor’s Commercial Vehicle Division from 2006 through 2008.
Before to joining Meritor, Reinhardt served as CEO of Detroit Diesel Corporation from 2003 through 2006, and VP of Operations for Western Star Trucks from 2001 through 2003, following 8 years in a variety of technical management positions at Freightliner Trucks. Reinhardt started his career as a Management Trainee at Daimler AG in Stuttgart, Germany.
Reinhardt grew up in Germany before coming to the U.S. in 1994. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Esslingen Technical University in Germany and a master of science degree in automobile engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
Reinhardt currently sits on the Boards of Grundfos AS, Rosti AB, and WEZAG.
Debra Milostan is Michigan Capital Advisors’ Office Manager and has more than 30 years of experience supporting C-suite executives in transportation and private equity industries. Prior to joining Michigan Capital, Milostan served as Senior Executive Assistant to the Chairman, CEO & President of Meritor, Inc. from 2010 to 2016 and Executive Assistant to the COO from 2006 to 2010. In this role, Milostan provided support for all short- and long-term business activities including managing agendas and logistics for the senior management team, acting as a liaison between the CEO, his direct reports and other executives, and coordinating travel and visa arrangements. From 1998 to 2004, Milostan provided executive support for ArvinMeritor’s CFO and Treasurer, Senior Vice President of Communications and Vice President of Compensation and Benefits.
From 2004 to 2006, Milostan was an executive administrative assistant to the Managing Principals at Questor Management Company, a private equity firm that has managed $1.2 billion across two funds, from 2004 to 2006. Earlier in her career, Milostan served as Executive Secretary to the president of Fruehauf International Ltd.
Milostan has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, and has earned a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
