Bobby Schostak is CEO of MadDog Venture Capital and General Partner of MadDog Venture Capital Fund I, investing in cloud-based technologies that disrupt traditional industries. He is also the founder of Templar Baker Group, a political and business consulting firm bridging the gap between government and industry.

 

For more than 35 years, Schostak has served in leadership roles at Schostak Brothers & Company, a Michigan-based commercial real estate enterprise with properties in 24 states. He also helps lead Team Schostak Family Restaurants, one of Michigan’s largest privately held restaurant groups, operating over 165 locations across brands such as Applebee’s, Wendy’s, MOD Pizza, Olga’s Kitchen, and Del Taco.

 

A former Chairman and Finance Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, Schostak is deeply involved in civic and community leadership. He serves as Chairman of the Oakland University Board of Trustees and on the boards of Belle Tire, Boji Group, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, and the Urban Land Institute of Michigan. He is a graduate of Oakland University.
