Michael Roth, Jr.
Michael Roth is an Analyst with Michigan Capital Advisors. He joined Michigan Capital Advisors in May of 2018 as a Summer Analyst.
Michael’s responsibilities include market research, deal team support, and broader business development and marketing initiatives. Michael performs company and industry research to gain an in-depth understanding of sector trends, challenges, and strategies to provide intel for investment decisions. He supports the investment team in developing, maintaining, and using financial models to perform financial and valuation analysis such as leveraged buyout analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and multiple variation analysis. Michael prepares investment presentations for prospective investments and manages portfolio company quarterly updates for MCA’s investors. He also created and manages MCA’s website.
Michael is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Michael has served in a number of different leadership roles in his fraternity and was a member of the executive board for the Michigan Foreign Policy Council, serving as President in his final semester on the board. Michael has performed multiple research projects while at Michigan and was twice published in the Michigan Foreign Policy Review. He has performed both micro and macro economic research with projects ranging from research on protectionist trade policies to an analysis of the impact automotive OEM sales have on Gross Domestic and Gross World Product.
Michael will graduate from Michigan in May of 2019 with a B.A. in Economics and Entrepreneurship.
