MCA Opens Bloomfield Hills Headquarters

Private equity firm adds operating partner and principal

 

Bloomfield Hills, Mich. (January 3, 2017) – Michigan Capital Advisors (MCA), a private equity firm focused on the automotive and transportation industry supply and distribution chain has opened its headquarters, located at 39520 Woodward Avenue, Suite 205 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The firm is uniquely focused on Tier II and III automotive and transportation related suppliers, and companies in the broader manufacturing space looking to further penetrate automotive and transportation industries.

Furthermore, Michigan Capital Advisors has retained Carsten Reinhardt as an Operating Partner and a member of the Advisory Board, and Yana Krivozus as Principal.

Reinhardt brings 23 years of automotive and transportation industry experience to MCA. Reinhardt is currently a Senior Advisor for RLE International. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of German supplier Voith Turbo. In addition to this role, Reinhardt has served as COO of Meritor Inc., President of Meritor’s Commercial Vehicle Division and CEO of Detroit Diesel Corporation, among other leadership roles within the automotive industry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Esslingen Technical University in Germany and a Master of Science in Automobile Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK. Reinhardt currently sits on the Boards of Grundfos AS, Rosti AB and WEZAG.

Krivozus has more than 10 years of experience in middle-market private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining MCA, Krivozus served as a Vice President at Glencoe Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm investing in industrials, services and consumer products verticals, where she spent seven years.

Krivozus began her career as an Investment Banker in J.P.Morgan’s Diversified Industrials group in Chicago where over a three year period, she completed seven transactions for clients in the automotive, transportation and broader manufacturing verticals.

Krivozus holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago and a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
